My toddlers and I have travelled many places within the states and across the world, and this is easily one of the most beautiful, unique, enchanting and memorable places (and accommodations!) we have ever had the pleasure of experiencing. If you value nature, quiet, and culture, and something off the beaten path, Klavže 28 is absolutely worth the trip!! The two guest houses are architecturally stunning and charming, the rooms thoughtfully appointed, and the grounds hard to beat. The large communal kitchen and living spaces make it feel like summer camp or a family reunion with friends and strangers alike, and the owners/ hosts, John and Sarah, are all-around awesome people who we enjoyed getting to know. Plus my kids adored playing with their toddler and baby! The epically grand lawn, surrounded by towering, lush, green forest was incredibly beautiful and relaxing, and my kids couldn’t stay away from the cool creek for thrilling river dips on either end of the property. We also did an awesome day trip to Lake Bled, catching the train just a 5 minute walk up the driveway. The nearby town offers some delightful dining options and stunning views, but our favorite thing to do was just stay on the property and explore, play games, roast marshmallows around the bonfire, and watch the skies change throughout the day. We can’t wait to go back!! Highly, highly recommended this trip for any nature lovers and curious travelers. An absolute delight.

I stayed here with my wife and two kids and we absolutely loved our stay at Klavze 28. This is the perfect idyllic vacation spot for a family. It's off the beaten path in a gorgeous part of the country but provides easy access to the rest of Slovenia by car or a train station conveniently located at the end of the driveway. John and Sarah are absolutely wonderful hosts and have loads of great recommendation to make the most of your time there. if a quiet, easy going vacation is your style, you'll love it here.
