Koi Resort and Spa Hoi An

My wife and I loved this hotel! We had such a fantastic 5 days here whilst visiting Hoi An. The staff were incredibly helpful, amazing location (you feel like you're on your own private island when you cross the bridge), and the hotel itself was beautiful. Amazing grounds and what a comfortable room with a big bathroom, bath and a balcony. The food was exceptional when we just wanted to stay at the hotel for dinner/lunch, and we loved the breakfasts every morning. It was nice to have the option for a quiet adults-only pool beside the spa and the option to use the gym. Staff couldn't do more to help with your stay and appreciated the shuttle bus in and out of Hoi An, but it was easy to book a grab when you wanted to go at different times. The only thing we would have liked, which is a necessity for the heat, is for the hotel to have an easily accessible drinking fountain in the main area or pool. To fill our water bottles, we had to walk to the water dispenser in the gym every time or buy big bottles of water when out in the town. So, please install a water fountain/dispenser in the lobby or by the pool for future guests, and the hotel will be perfect!

Perfect for an anniversary holiday. Daily breakfast was absolutely sensational and delicious Pools were big spacious, adult only in the back of the resort, nice and quiet for couples wanting to escape children. So, for me personally (I'm a teacher), it was great to enjoy my time in peace. Staff lovely 😍 Lots of positives if you're open-minded and a respectful traveller! 😀 We aim to come back soon! Did not meet expectations. I chose this hotel because it looked beautiful and cozy in the photos. But unfortunately, the reality was completely different. First of all, the hotel advertised two swimming pools, but only one was functioning. And the main pool deserves a separate mention — the tiles were broken, and I got several cuts just from swimming. It was extremely dangerous. There also weren’t enough sunbeds at the pool — which is unacceptable since it’s the only one in the entire hotel. Secondly, the beach in the photos looked perfect, but when we arrived, there were ships in the sea digging something, and the water was terribly dirty. It was impossible to swim, so we had to waste time and money traveling to other beaches. There were only 8 sunbeds for the entire hotel — it was absurd. Bicycles, which were also listed among the amenities, were either broken or always taken. The food at the restaurant was tasteless and unreasonably expensive. We almost always had to eat elsewhere, which also took extra time because there was no transportation available. The rooms were outdated. The bathtub was cracked, cabinets were broken and dirty. There was constantly water on the floor near the toilet — very unpleasant. Another huge downside is that the hotel hosts loud, noisy events every day (not even for hotel guests), continuing late into the evening. Forget about peace and quiet — there is none. The hotel may look nice from the outside, but it is long overdue for renovations. This vacation left a bitter aftertaste. I do not recommend it, especially for families with children or those seeking a peaceful and comfortable stay.
