Kololi Beach Resort

Me and my friend love love love this resort! First, it is stunning!!! The grounds are well maintained and kept, and it feels luxury the moment you walk in! Secondary the service! 10/10 the staff can’t do enough for you, we felt well looked after and truly like we are on holiday! The food and drink has a lot of choice and is exceptional and at a good price, there is a happy hour between 5/6 with 2 for 1 drinks, which is always nice! The pool area is quiet and not too overwhelmed with people! The beach is not a far distance from the hotel restaurant, I would definitely come back to this hotel again I love it!

Just got back from 2 weeks at this hotel. Lovely staff , very helpful, ideally placed for local bars and restaurants only 5 minutes stroll to the Zenegambia strip. Unfortunately our trip didn't start off too well as we had booked an apartment in the Stones block, the room was rather small and we were roadside of the building within earshot of the local GTS bar which was still pumping bass out at 5am. However in the morning we spoke to reception and the lovely Aida ( excuse the spelling) couldn't have been more helpful , she grabbed some keys and showed us some more rooms which were available. For a nominal fee we upgraded to the Springs complex. The difference was like chalk and cheese , lovely spacious lounge /kitchenette, large bedroom and 2 bathrooms with a large balcony over looking the pool Fantastic. Hotel bar/restaurant set on the beach reasonably priced and good food, everywhere was very clean and the gardeners and pool boys were constantly maintaining the grounds. All in all very enjoyable relaxing holiday but a big shout out to all the staff especially Aida for their helpfulness and friendly service.

I am from Barcelona and have been traveling to Gambia for 10 years. I stayed at this resort for three months. The place is spectacular, right on the beach, where the exquisitely decorated and functional rooms are surrounded by a stretch of perfectly manicured grass that looks like a golf course. I don’t think there’s another place in the entire country where the design of a complex blends so well with the characteristics of the environment. You might even think you’re in Bali or Formentera. I stayed in a villa with sea views and enjoyed every minute of my stay. Honestly, the management, led by Fabian, a true French gentleman, along with Amani’s attentive eye and exquisite attention to detail, makes you feel right at home. At 55 years old, I’ve also enjoyed some sensational evenings watching the sunset while listening to DJ Bass—one of the best DJs I’ve ever known—perfectly complement those moments with music tailored to the atmosphere. In short, this is the best resort to stay at, with a European touch in terms of service, customer care, and the effort to make you feel not just like a welcomed guest but like part of the family.
