Koora Hotel a Cloud Forest Resort

Absolutely loved every aspect of our stay at Koora! We stayed here as a last minute plan to explore Monteverde in celebration of our anniversary. From the moment we pulled into the parking lot, we were greeted by the attentive and kind staff. They helped us plan our excursions, advised us on the ideal times to do the items on our wish list, and made us feel right at home. Their questions were merely invitations to help us further enjoy the surrounding beauty - no high pressure sales. Their tour guide connections were spot on. Our room, 103, was the Vista Junior Suite. Each morning we woke up to a glorious view. The grounds were tranquil and we even explored the trails right from the property. Our room was very clean. Each day we are at the restaurant - Kiré - the meals were excellent. The atmosphere was relaxing yet elegant! Each time we ate outside on their covered balcony, we could watch the birds, the kinkajou, and butterflies. This is likely the most memorable place we have ever stayed for all the right reasons.

Wow!!! We loved our stay at Koora hotel - my only complaint is that we only stayed for 2 nights. We were in a cloud forest bungalow which was HUGE and plenty of room for our family of 4. The kids loved having their own private room and balcony. The views were amazing and daily breakfast was delicious! We really appreciated all of the small details - nightly turn down service, snacks, waters & coffee in the kitchenette, etc. The location was great - it was a very short drive to town and all of our activities. We really enjoyed the Monteverde area and seriously wish we had stayed at least one extra day. Be sure to check out the daily happy hour - we thoroughly enjoyed drinks and apps with the gorgeous view from the restaurant.

Greatest hotel in Costa Rica. We had a last minute change of plans and they were very accommodating to get us in a room. The staff is top notch. Marco is wonderful along with every staff member you meet. This is the second time we’ve stayed there and everyone welcomed us back. The waiters in the morning for breakfast thanked us for coming back. Every single one of the servers knows every family member’s name. It’s truly amazing. Oh and by the way the food is spectacular.
