Kunming Golden Eagle Summit Hotel

Room and services are great.

Took 8 tries of putting in and out the key card for the electricity to work. Room was still dark even after the lights are all on. Can't open the curtains as the room looks directly into the restaurant and jogging path. No cutlery to use for the complementary fruits. TV was very hard to operate. I asked for someone who speaks english to guide me but none was available. And make sure to check for the laundry bag. They'll charge you if they can't find it. I should have made sure it was there in the first place when i came in, but was too tired.

Stayed with them May 7-8 2019. The key card took 8 tries to light up the room. I tried calling for help but the girl who answered took forever to get someone who speaks English. I was tired when i arrived at about 8pm as it is. The room was poorly lit and the view was terrible - restaurant of the hotel. Hence, I had to close the blinds always and had no natural light as people in the restaurant and park can easily see into my room. The welcome fruit is not meant to be eaten as there is no cutlery provided. Asking for 1 took forever. Tv is so hard to navigate. Wifi instruction should be at least in english. Airconditioning doesnt seem to cool properly. Room was hot still even if its already set at 19 degrees. Make sure you look over the room for a laundry bag. The hotel charge me for it even if i didnt see it in whatever cabinet/area they said they left it.
