This place is absolutely amazing, we passed by for the day! 6-7$ US for kayaking, swimming, coffee... You order delicious drinks and food, the people working here are lovely and the owner was so nice! If we knew how awesome, we would have took the package for the night!!
we always enjoy coming here to the LBC...we have been treated nicely on every occasion when visiting and it's a great place to swim and bring the (grand) kids! the atmosphere is relaxed and welcoming- I like the fact that local vendors are allowed on the premises and that you can bring your own cooler etc if you so choose- great place!!!
I have mixed feelings about this place. The main building is modest but nice. The grounds have beautiful, lush vegetation walking down to the lagoon. The seating and water area seemed a bit old. The steps and decks had a lot of algae and were slippery. We stayed overnight in a room with a private bathroom. The room was fine but somewhat basic. The staff was nice and some spoke English. This place all but shuts down at sunset. You have to order expensive food before it even fully gets dark. The kitchen was already closed for us just before 7. They also lock the front gate at 7 so you've got limited options if you enjoy independent travel. There was a small store directly across the street that sold drinks for much cheaper. Overall, I just don't think it's a good match for someone that isn't a fan of resort-style travel.
