Laguna Cliffs Marriott Resort and Spa

Thankfully we moved from our other hotel in Laguna to this beautiful resort. Friendly, professional staff. Wonderful big rooms, comfortable and had a nice feel. The pools, spa, hot tub are all pristine with lovely views overlooking the marina and harbor. This place saved a terrible previous experience and made our trip. Highly highly recommend!

A wonderful family hotel that is exceptionally kid-friendly, offering the perks of a resort-like setting while avoiding common resort drawbacks. It maintains an upscale atmosphere with well-appointed rooms, particularly those with stunning ocean views. The hotel hosts a couple of on-site restaurants and is conveniently located in the heart of Dana Point. Guests can enjoy various amenities, including a kids club, a spacious fitness center, multiple swimming pools, and additional fun activities. A short stroll down the hill (approximately 5 minutes) leads to a beautiful oceanfront area, where you can explore the marina and Dana Point beach. Despite being a busy destination, the hotel's expansive grounds ensure a comfortable experience without feeling overcrowded. It’s definitely an excellent place to stay with family and friends.

The location here is beautiful surrounded by an ambience of serene aqua green ocean and scenic mountain range and hills. This hotel sits atop a hill with a vast panoramic view of nearby towns and nature. The room was nice with few issues like patio sliding door did not lock, cordless phone did not work, swimming pool was not heated, jacuzzi was very murky water. The pools are very small here and they get fairly crowded during the day and food menu at the pool is very limited and pricey. The view of Dana Point beach is the winner for this hotel but the rest of the hotel can use a tremendous upgrade for being a resort hotel at the price you pay for it. Thank You Very Much!!!
