We stayed at Tam Coc Chic Villa & Resort and really appreciated the peaceful, green surroundings and the warm, personal service. This small-scale resort is a lovely place to relax, with a beautifully maintained garden and low-rise buildings that blend naturally into the landscape. The swimming pool is set in lush greenery and provides a refreshing break after a day of exploring. The staff were consistently friendly and welcoming, always doing their best to ensure guests feel comfortable. The rooms are simple but clean and pleasant, with a bathroom featuring a walk-in shower. Breakfast is very basic, but always served with a smile. One practical suggestion would be to provide an industrial toaster, as the current household model isn't sufficient when the restaurant gets busier. The hotel also makes a sincere effort to offer on-site dining, but nearby restaurants are significantly cheaper, which is where most guests seemed to go. One thing to note: the entrance is not well marked, which made it difficult for our Grab driver to find the location. Better signage would help future guests. Despite these small points, we truly enjoyed our stay. Tam Coc Chic Villa & Resort is a peaceful and welcoming base for discovering the beauty of Ninh Binh, and we would gladly recommend it.
We had an unforgettable stay at L’Alita Chic Villa in Vietnam. Our private villa with personal pool was a true oasis of peace and relaxation, perfect after a day of exploring. The staff were incredibly kind and attentive, always making us feel at home. The food was a delightful surprise: an excellent restaurant serving delicious local dishes, along with Italian options that our kids absolutely loved. And the gin tonic, perfectly made and enjoyed by the pool, quickly became our evening ritual. We can’t forget the spa – we had a massage that was simply unforgettable, thanks to the exceptional quality and attention to detail. In short, a place where comfort, great food, and warm hospitality come together to create special memories. We would go back in a heartbeat!
We are an Aussie family of four - 2 adults, 2 kids (11 and 15). Spent three nights at the Lalita Tam Coc and sadly it was the most disappointing accommodation of our entire month in Vietnam. The location is away from the Tam Coc township, tucked into lovely gardens beside a beautiful limestone cliff. It's very scenic and the pool is amazing beside the cliff. Unfortunately the rooms themselves are old, dated and not very clean. We had the 'suites' which were not suites at all - just largish rooms with two beds in each. The bathrooms regularly had no hot water, and there were bugs every night (which caused a lot of bights). The beds were comfy however the bedroom air con was poor, so most nights were hot. We had breakfast included which was very average. Nothing was heated or on ice, so the food was either stone cold or lukewarm. Very small selection, and we had to ask each morning for them to refill the milk and juices. We ate by the pool a few times during our stay here and the food was pretty good and very well priced for a hotel. Overall this isn't a resort - it's a cute but very dated hotel in a pretty garden. Needs a good clean and some updating.
