It’s a beautiful place off the beaten path. The pools are stunning, the staff is very friendly, and the food is good. I wish we had rented a car to get around.
Las Verandas is located in such a picture perfect place but the customer service at the restaurant is Terrible. Roadside vendors offer better customer service at their shacks compared to this place. Management please train your staff on the basics. The location is amazing but the customer service deficient. Go eat out in town the prices and customer service are way better.
I can't vote on location and rooms because this resort has such poor customer service. After providing flight information to this resort the same day the reservation was paid and organizing airport transfers, we were told the DAY BEFORE our reservation that the hotel does not actually provide service to the airport we were flying into. It was extremely difficult to get in contact with the resort to work out cancelation and they charged 50% of full booking as a no show even though we attempted to cancel the day before. Although it looks like we would've enjoyed the property, the poor customer service and lack of communication was unacceptable. I will be sure to actively warn other travelers to avoid booking here.
