This was my sanctuary in Area 43. The gym is amazing, never busy. The swimming pool is very good and never busy, super clean and maintained all the time. Generally a bit higher prices than most places but you soon see why. Highly recommended!
Beautiful hotel and nice food. But a cup of tea costing 20 k MWK — more than a Jack Daniel’s, more than a chocolate lava cake, and the same price as an alcoholic cocktail — is, frankly, hilarious, ridiculous, and outrageous all at once
I’ve never stayed in the rooms but the food was disappointing. The watermelon & halloumi salad is just chopped watermelon with a sauce - only 4 pieces of halloumi and half a dozen small pieces of cucumber added to it so not filling at all. My friend’s ‘steamed veg’ were fried. When it started raining heavily, no-one came outside to help us get our food and katundu out of the rain quickly. The pool is the cleanest I’ve seen in Lilongwe but the food and service were disappointing for the cost.
