Lavona Hotel

This is one of the best hotels in downtown Jubail in an area where there is serious shortage of decent hotels. The surrounding area looks somewhat run down but the hotel itself is impeccably clean with modern decor and pleasant atmosphere. The rooms are very comfortable and while the bathrooms do not have tubs and only have shower units, they are fine. The bedding is comfortable and there is blackout on the curtains which helps with getting a good night's sleep. Check-in and check-out has always been smooth and I've always been recognized as a returning guest and sometimes been upgraded to a suite for my loyalty. There is fast and free WiFi throughout the hotel and it has always worked very reliably (good enough to stream Netflix). While there is a large flat screen TV in the room, the selection of channels is not great and mostly consists of free-to-air ones. There is a small roof-top gym with a very small pool - you won't be able to do laps but you could certainly "soak". The view of Jubail from the roof top is quite nice though, especially at night. A buffet breakfast is included in the room rate and it's quite good. The coffee is brewed (not instant), there are high quality teas and you can order eggs to order.

Haven’t stayed in the hotel but I’m a regular visitor for their spa. This place offers the best massages in town, easily! Place is clean, quality services, affordable fees, professional and polite staff, some rooms are not as quiet as some others, but the music can make it up for you. Once you finish your massage session, they offer you a choice of hot and cold beverages, I always take the lemonade.

Excellent. Small rooms but very decently designed. I am an Architect, and I recommend the design details that had been put in reference to the context. Good hospitality. Decent breakfast. Decent toilets. But Xtrmly slow elevator 😊. I would go next time to the same hotel IA.
