The hotel’s sleek curved glass tower made an impression. Located in the heart of the city, the building’s architecture was both modern and commanding. The room I stayed in offered a seamless blend of elegance and comfort. The living space featured rich wooden flooring, an expansive curved sofa, and contemporary lighting accents. Floor-to-ceiling windows flooded the room with natural light and opened up to a sweeping city view, bringing the outside skyline into the refined interior. The bedroom was equally impressive — a luxurious bed framed by stylish furniture, and again, the stunning view continued. The attention to detail in materials and layout created a restful, high-end atmosphere. A large circular rug beneath the bed tied the space together with artistic flair. The walk-in closet which was spacious, clean-lined, and practical, offered a boutique-like dressing experience. The bathroom was on par with luxury resort standards: marble surfaces, double sinks, a freestanding soaking tub, a separate shower with rain and hand heads, and two toilets — one of them in a private powder room. The use of light, texture, and materials made it feel indulgent yet functional. They delivered a premium urban experience that’s both polished and deeply comfortable😍

The standard rooms here are spacious and very comfortable. The Executive Lounge has a great atmosphere. During the 5:30 PM - 7:30 PM happy hour for members, the food selection is limited but well-prepared, and there is a good variety of alcoholic beverages. Breakfast includes made-to-order noodles, and the service staff are very attentive. There isn’t much to explore within walking distance of the hotel. It’s more suitable for those driving or taking the train, as it is located next to Taichung Train Station (note: not Taichung High-Speed Rail Station). A noteworthy feature is the Tesla Supercharger station right downstairs, along with six free slow chargers, making it very convenient for EV owners. This Le Méridien is usually reasonably priced and generous to loyalty members. Recommended!
