Le Panoramique is a good hotel in Bujumbura offering acceptable services. My room was clean. Although the building is aging. The staff are supportive and responsive. Schardack is excellent. The location is great and safe in walking distance around the city.
Personnel is nice and helpful, they speak both French and English. Restaurant is nice and good menu but very slow (>40m waiting time even being the only guests at the moment). Internet is very fast, but we had an internet blackout of around 3h one of the days.
Sigh... this place has so much potential given the views and the pool, but the service is probably the worst I have ever encountered. Their wait staff is sadly not happy nor interested in their job and definitely don’t bother to hide it. It is also extremely overpriced for what they offer with borderline ridiculous waiting times. Be careful if swimming! It’ll cost you 20,000 and they won’t tell you anything about it until you’re leaving.
