The hotel is pretty dated and needs some modernisation. The reception, restaurant and bar look like they have had some TLC. But the corridors and rooms need some love too. The bed was super comfy, I stayed in the heat wave and there is no AC but a desk fan was available in the room and helped make it comfortable. The car park is so confusing if you want to leave and re enter once you’ve checked in and paid for parking. I was leaving early in the morning and couldn’t exit as I’d left the night before to go get some things once I’d checked in. I had to call the hotel as there was no option on the exit barrier or signs advising you what to do. Once I managed to speak to someone they let me out. Overall it’s a nice hotel and worth the price.
Our first impression of the room was very positive. The air conditioning worked excellently—it was actually cool and refreshing—and the beds were extremely comfortable. The room itself was a good size and well-kept. However, it’s worth noting that there was no view from the room we stayed in, which was a bit disappointing. The hotel offers a range of facilities including a swimming pool, hot tub, sauna, and steam room. While the steam room and sauna were both excellent and maintained at ideal temperatures, the hot tub was noticeably cool and did not feel warm enough to fully enjoy. Unfortunately, we did encounter an issue with persistent noise throughout the night, which seemed to be related to the air conditioning system. We attempted to contact reception during the night to report it, but received no response. A formal complaint has been submitted to the company, and that process is currently ongoing. While there were several positives to our stay, these issues did affect the overall experience.
No air conditioning. Way too hot to sleep in room. They should not be having guests in the hotel until they sort out the temperature. It was 32 deg in my room. Even the walls were warm. The fan they give you just blows hot air around. No sleep. You have to pay to park even though you are not in the city centre. The pool is small and old, needs cleaning and refreshing. Food is over priced. No view from any of the windows.
