Leopard Plains

This is such a stunning place, I wish we could have stayed longer. The staff is very friendly, the atmosphere is cosy and we enjoyed watching the animals at the waterhole. The food was great and even though we only booked last minute, they arranged vegetarian food for us. At breakfast, we got the best toast we've ever had. And during his bush walk with guide Oscar, my husband saw a leopard! All in all, we had a very pleasant stay. We just missed the opportunity to make coffee. Coffee was provided, but there was no kettle. I would also put a few rugs on the floor, as the floor gets very cold in winter. Luckily, we did get a nice hot water bottle and extra blankets.

Leopard Plains is truly a special place, far from everything and surrounded by the bush. All around you, just nature and silence. The tents are beautiful: spacious, well-maintained, and designed in a simple, authentic style that makes you feel completely immersed in the landscape. Every detail is carefully thought out to offer an experience that is both genuine and comfortable. We absolutely fell in love with this place! It’s a place that will stay in our hearts and we highly recommend it to anyone dreaming of the true spirit of Botswana. A special thank you to Grace and Kabelo!

Visited on an Intrepid Tour. By far and away the best accomodation of the tour. Small and perfect. Few rooms and guests makes for a very personalised experience. Beautiful room. Slept better than I have in a long time. The food was really good - the chef produced meals that were delicious and made with love. A private game park, the drives were incredibly informative. Rob and his guides were very knowledgeable. Highly recommend.
