Nice Airbnb place. Good location, right on the edge of the old city. There's a grocery store nearby, Metro and Via stations nearby. We walked all over the city, going up Mont Royal and even as far as Mile End and St Joseph's Oratory. Having said that, it isn't in the middle of the action, it's on the edge. So we had to walk or Uber to get anywhere, as opposed to stepping out the door to find something. We stayed in the Artist's Loft. Nice space for 6 people. It was clean and well taken care of. Fun loft feel. The bathroom could benefit from a minor reno. A new toilet would be great. The bathroom is all very functional, but nothing more.
Lovely apartment, but we stood on the street for half an hour as we had no instructions for getting in. A lovely man from the restaurant came and helped us get in, or we might still be waiting. The apartment however, is stunning, bright and light and sparkling clean.
Building is a very old walk up and I thought I heard mice when sleeping. Location is not very good. You're better off at a hotel with standards.
