Likuliku Lagoon Resort Adults Only

We reserved an over water Bure and it was incredible! Glass flooring section was a nice touch. Service was exceptional as were the drinks (the iced tea is amazing). Meals took a long time as they were all multiple courses, but the live music at lunch and dinner made it enjoyable. We enjoyed snorkeling right at the base of our room, took a snorkeling trip to honeymoon Island, spent time relaxing on our deck, and really just took in the beauty of it all. What other reviewers hadn't mentioned but we found amazing was the diversity of wildlife to see. Lemon fiddler crabs, mangrove crabs, crested iguanas, kingfishers, swallows, geckos, giant clams, stingray, sculpin, mudskippers, an octopus!, eels, blue sea stars, unicorn fish, parrot fish of several colorations, triggerfish, trumpet fish, sweet lips, urchins, coral in blue purple orange red yellow etc , tangs, angel fish, Moorish idols, pufferfish, spiny sea stars, etc ALL seen at the resort and reef outside. At night from the dock we even saw small reef sharks hunting! It is definitely a luxury resort with the best over water Bure option in all of Fiji, but we weren't even expecting the huge variety of interesting wildlife right there!

Our stay at Likuliku Island Resort was extraordinary. We stayed in a Deluxe Waterfront Bure with a private plunge pool, and it was perfect for our belated honeymoon/10 year wedding anniversary! The bure was incredible - not only the views but the beautiful decorations that embraces the Fijian culture. Watching the sun set from our day bed, walking ten step to the ocean or jumping in the pool made every moment feel like we were in paradise. The staff of Likuliku are incredible! Everyone we met was warm, genuine, and attentive. They each remembered our names and stopped for a chat when they saw us. They went above and beyond making sure to celebrate both birthday and anniversary with a traditional serenade at dinner. Their authentic engagement with guests left a lasting impression. We used the complementary snorkelling equipment, enjoy treatments in the spa and participated in the complementary gatherings/adventures for guests such as Jonas Lookout, Crying Rock and Medicinal Walk or simply unwinding in our bure, everything was taken care of with such care and thoughtfulness. Nothing was a problem! Additionally we learned about the Ahura Group's commitment to the conservation through their apiaries, captive iguana breeding programme and replanting of the local dry forest. Vinaka vakalevu to the Likuliku team. The genuine warmth and attention to detail made this a truly unforgettable experience. We would very much like to come back - soon!

Booked in for a week's stay in May 2025 however we were stranded due to the floods on the mid north coast of NSW Australia, where we live, preventing us from leaving our homes. Likuliku resort refused to rebook our accommodation although we were happy to go any other time, they stated they had no vacancies left for the year, however our travel agent informed us there were vacancies in September. We will get to Fiji at some stage but will never consider staying at this resort with heartless management. They also had the hide to send my friend an email asking her how we enjoyed our stay !
