Limeshine Airport Transit Hotel

We chose Limeshine Hotel for our first night in Sri Lanka as our flight was landing around 9 PM, and it was a great decision. The hotel is conveniently located about 10 minutes from the Airport, and they arranged a car to pick us up for a fee, which was much appreciated. While there isn't a restaurant at the hotel, we found plenty of dining options within walking distance that stayed open late, so finding a meal was no issue. The room itself was simple but impeccably clean, which is always a priority. I had read a recent complaint about noisy AC units, but we didn't experience that at all – our unit worked perfectly, cooling the room effectively and silently. Breakfast was straightforward but met our needs with enough food and decent quality. What truly stood out was the staff; they were incredibly attentive and helpful throughout our stay. I highly recommend Limeshine Hotel and will definitely use it again for late evening arrivals or early morning departures from Colombo.

My three night stay at Limeshine Hotel was like a warm embrace, truly a home away from home! Its closeness to Bandaranaike International Airport made everything incredibly convenient. The rooms were impeccably clean, tranquil, and cozy, with dreamy soft beds and a hot shower that washed away the day’s fatigue. But the staff truly stole our hearts! Ms. Anjali and Mr. Dilshan were like rays of sunshine, always smiling and ready to assist with genuine warmth, while the evening shift staff member was a true hero, handling our requests swiftly with a smile. The Wi-Fi was lightning-fast, and the welcome drink along with a small gift (a map-shaped keychain) made me feel genuinely special. This hotel isn’t just a place to stay—it’s a heartfelt experience filled with comfort and care. I highly recommend it!🤍 Thank you All 😊

Arrived 2 hours earlier than planned and naturally my room was not ready. But the staff was really keen on getting me into my room as soon as possible and they were super fast with it. They offered me cold drinks, hot drinks and they made me really comfortable while waiting for the room to be ready. In 10 minutes, I was in my room. If you are in transit or just need a place to crash close to the airport, this is it. Good value, super comfy and clean rooms, nice neighborhood with plenty of dining options and supermarkets, extremely close to the airport, very calm area. I did not have breakfast because I left very early. A really good option for in and out of the country overnight stays. They have drink options available at the lobby. They have parking space available and there is always an Uber close to the hotel, I used it 3 times and waited 2 minutes at most. They arrange airport transfers as well. I would recommend it.
