Beautiful hotel right in the centre. Around the corner from the park and main arch. The food was amazing. Had sea food pasta for dinner it was the best. Breakfast could have been better. They had a beautiful brunch menu I wish they offered for breakfast. The rooms were gorgeous. Staff very helpful. Special mention to the receptionist Raul who contacted me immediately after I left my Air pods behind which I was able to run back and collect. Would highly recommend.
A total SCAM!!! My friends stayed here, they paid for a big room, and they got a shoe box. They showed them the reservation and the specifications for what they paid for and the hotel didn’t do anything. They lied to them saying they were going to give them a refund and nothing happened. Later my friends left a review sharing what happened and the owner called them and yelled at them. Such a disgrace to have a place like this in Antigua, who treats tourists in this horrible way. Guatemala needs tourism. Hotels in Guatemala, specially owned by foreigners, need to follow the country’s protocols, service and culture.
Do yourself a favor and don’t come here. We paid full price in advance for a big room. They shoved us in the closet room for 2 nights where we didn’t event have the space to open our luggage’s. They then told us they would workout a compensation for the 2 nights out of 5 we were here. On checkout day (after 5 days of continuously asking them about the compensation) we found out it was all a lie and they were telling us what we wanted to hear so we would stay in the hotel. By staying in the hotel, they actually removed our leg to stand on for any argument for refund. Every different staff at the front desk knew about this and lied. So prepared to be lied to
