Luxe Impressively designed 2nd floor unit in Coco done in red and orange hues

The people who worked there were nice. And if you are wanting to stay in the Playa Coco area, this is a great location. It is within walking distance of the water and many restaurants. The rooms are in need of updating and could be cleaned better. There was a mold smell in both my room and the other person in our party.

This hotel is in the center of town which is a great plus. The room was clean and well air conditioned. However the water barely flowed from the faucet/shower and we only had cold (like warm) water for the first few days. However, one night we came back to our room and had no water. We told the front desk who promptly resolved the issue and somehow gave us hot water too. They made our beds 7 out of 9 days and even made towel animals/designs for us most days, which was a nice touch. The Wi-Fi in the room sucked most of the time and completely cut out one night, so I had to go to the stairs to connect to the front desk Wi-Fi. There was no ice machine but we were able to get some at the Asian restaurant past the casino. On a side note, my wife was fortunate enough the win $250 off of $5 in the casino on her way back from getting ice one night.

This is not a 4star hotel it's a 2 star motel at best..... The pictures are definitely not a true reflection of what you get when you arrive! I'd avoid if you want a 4 star! There is no pool on site. When staff were asked about the photos of the hotel on Google and booking.com etc they said yes that what it was like 10 years ago!
