Madison Tower Mill Hotel

I only stayed here for one night and enjoyed it. The staff are very friendly and helpful. The room was clean and comfy. Thank you Indie in the bar/restaurant area for your delightful service on Tuesday at Lunch 😃🥂

I had a problem with a third-party booking website. I called the hotel directly, and they were happy to match the price. So, I rebooked over the phone. The hotel is close to Central Station, and it was easy to walk there with my suitcase. The room was smaller than I expected, especially considering I had booked a King Executive room. The room was clean but had two single beds pushed together, with a dip in the middle. I could see the city from the balcony. The biggest downside was that the TV didn’t work. I only found out after I checked in. When I told the receptionist, she said many rooms had the same problem and that someone would come to check it on my check-out date. I wish I had been informed about this in advance, as I would have booked elsewhere. We had breakfast in the restaurant downstairs. The portion was large and tasty. However, there was no coffee service—I guess this was because we arrived about 20 minutes before closing time.

Affordable rates in a prime location with friendly and helpful staff! Loved the coffee machine in the room, but more capsules would have been appreciated. I was disappointed that there was no Foxtel on the TV. Had to ask for toiletries at reception and missed having an in-house communication system. Despite these small issues, still had a pleasant stay.
