Magnat Lux Hotel

One of the best hotel locations in Chernivtsi, but has a couple of drawbacks still. First of all, no bed lamps in a room is kinda strange; also I've been informed via phone that there's no parking available because of the hotel being situated on a pedestrian street, so I had to circle around city center with a 5 month kid in the back seat looking for a parking spot. Upon check in though I've been asked if we need a parking spot, since they rent it nearby and offer to guests. Perfect timing, lol. So all in all staff could use some training. Also having an accessable entrance would've been nice: going inside with a stroller or in a wheelchair is impossible. The good side is that the hotel is always clean and comfortable,and location is terrific!

We booked a luxe room and voila, NO WATER. ”Yes”-the manager says, we’ve been having water issues for the past 4 days!!! Its late, we are tired from the road and cant even take a shower or have the strength to look for another hotel. Paid 70$ a night and now have to use baby wipes for a shower. You think they should’ve warned us about their water issues when we walked in asking for an available room? ....

The hotel has a laundry service and they ruined my shorts with bleach. The shorts were covered in white spots so i can throw it away. The hotel told me that they would refund me the money in 2 weeks. After 2 weeks no money and no message from the hotel. After calling them they said that they would call the next day but they 'never took contact again. Aircondition in the room was broken with 35+ degrees outside. After reporting it they promised to fix it but nobody came to our room to have a look. Nice location but terrible service!!!
