Mahagun Sarovar Portico Suites

My stay at this hotel was excellent. It's right on the beach and has great privacy. The staff were amazing, always helpful, especially Mario, who helped us change rooms (428). Our room was spacious with a sea view. While the hotel is a bit older, it's very clean and well-maintained. The spa-scented toiletries were a refreshing touch.dileep and Junaid

Good facilities, but extremely disappointing service. The room was spacious, clean, and well-maintained, and the overall facilities at the hotel are quite good. The location is also a plus, making it a convenient choice for travelers. However, the service experience was extremely poor. The staff was rude, unresponsive, and lacked basic courtesy. Simple requests like water, towels, or other essentials required multiple follow-ups—and in some cases, we had to go to the lobby ourselves to get them. The lack of responsibility and professionalism from the staff really took away from what could have been a pleasant stay. Another major concern was the in-room minibar/refreshments. Items were being charged at two to three times their MRP—Rs. 100 for a Rs. 40 biscuit and Rs. 200 for a Rs. 30 chips packet. We even witnessed other guests raising similar complaints with the management during our stay. This practice feels unethical and exploitative. Overall, while the infrastructure and amenities are commendable, the poor service and questionable billing practices seriously affect the overall experience. Would not recommend unless significant improvements are made in customer service and transparency.

The basic amenities are missing in the hotel..you have to ask for a dental kit or even a towel...The suite room does not justify it's name...The toilet seat was broken .their was no water in the room.The buffet was grand but nothing satiated your hunger. The reception takes all the time in the world to complete formalities even when they can see that you are pregnant. I made a mistake choosing this hotel. One good thing is staff here is polite.
