Oustanding Animation Team at Malikia Resort The animation team at Malikia resort made my stay unforgettable. From fitness classes to fantastic evening shows, they kept everyone entertained. Their energy and enthusiasm were contagious, and they really made sure there was something for everyone to enjoy. The nightly performances were especially impressive, with great music, dance, and comedy. Overall, the animation team added a fun, lively atmosphere that enhanced my experience. Highly recommend!

I d like to leave a review specifically for Yomna from the guest relations and Sherif who was extra kind to me and my child, I am grateful for your service. Also I d like to mention Bazid - a waiter at the main restaurant and a Hassan - a bar tender at the beach, he was super friendly! I also d like to thank a cleaning service staff - the room was nice and clean and especially for the luggage delivery on the check out day - I didnt even have to ask - it was on their to do list. I d like to thank a life guard at the beach who always was friendly to us. As far as a hotel itself - there are pluses and minuses. The biggest plus is the Abu Dabbab bay location. You have the whole bay to swim in. They are not strict about swimming before 8am and you can swim till the dawn (but not after of course). We didnt have much to walk from our room to the beach. The biggest minus is the food. I have no idea who taught the main chef to boil the pasta, let it cool down and THEN they put it in a HOT WATER to reheat, OMG, any Italian cook would be dead after seeing that. The breakfast is the same every day, which was mainly ok. The dinner: sometimes was ok and sometimes great. The Lunch - most times was horrible. A few days all meat was spicy so we could not feed our kids. I may assume that the Chef is a Egyptian. Because every national dish that I've tried was fresh and tasty, I liked the small Egyptian corner at the breakfast. And grill was good too. But salads, desert (besides the national sweets) and anything Italian was pretty bad. Kid Club was only for Czech kids. They have a really nice playground with the tent which we've enjoyed. Overall we had a really nice stay since we didnt expect a high cosine at the first place (thanks to all reviewers). I really liked the sea. We saw many turtles and a lot of sea life there. The location is a winner!

Waves Restaurant – fantastic atmosphere and a beautiful sea view during dinner. The food is mostly the same as in the main daily restaurant. Beach Restaurant – phenomenal fries! The hotel is clean, and the staff in housekeeping, bars, and restaurants are very friendly. However, one of the front desk staff members was very rude, unempathetic, and showed no concern for guests. The coral reef is great for snorkeling, both from the beach and the jetty. There’s a fun water playground for kids. Cons: Many things require extra payment despite the all-inclusive package (ice cream, watermelon, Wi-Fi, drinks after 11 PM, bottled water beyond the daily 0.5L/person allowance). The food overall is disappointing – very limited selection of meats, cold cuts, and fruit. Virtually no fish or seafood. The Italian restaurant serves poor-quality food, often nothing like the original dishes. Their “tiramisu” was just panna cotta on a sponge cake. Numerous pushy sellers (massages, tattoos, quad rides, etc.) approaching guests every single day. Lots of mosquitoes and no repellents installed in the outlets – thankfully I brought my own Raid. In Hurghada hotels, this is usually standard. No drying rack on the ground floor balcony of building 5. Upper floors have railings which can be used, and some rooms in other buildings had foldable wall-mounted racks. Very few daytime activities or animations (apart from the 9:30 PM shows). Many sunbeds were broken. The only reason I might consider returning to this hotel in the future is the coral reef – although in a few years it might not matter anymore, as reefs across Egypt are sadly dying...
