Manoir Des Sables an Ascend Collection Hotel

So glad to have found this spot through booking.com when looking for a halfway meeting place for each family. We are having a blast. The pool, lake, grounds, rooms, restaurant are all impeccable. We REALLY appreciate the pool towel service available and the water activities and equipment included. All 6 of our party are enjoying the stay . Every staff member we have encountered is knowledgeable, friendly, helpful and enthusiastic. Very much appreciated. We'll definitely consider returning again.

Overall our stay was relaxing. Spent time with family from out of town. Room was cozy and I liked the fact it had a fridge and microwave and plenty of space for clothes/belongings. The view was amazing and the amenities were great. Only downfall was that the amenities need to be maintained better. The hot tubs inside and outside are a bit dirty and not scrubbed down enough it seems. I'm pretty sure the sauna had cockroaches in it and many of them. We noticed as soon as we opened the door there was bugs crawling all over the place. That was a huge disappointment! Hopefully it will be cleaned out and better maintained in the future. It did have me a bit concerned for the rest of my stay as to what other bugs are there and if those were getting on us but hopefully I cleaned out everything well enough just in case. It was a decent price overall but not worth as much considering we couldn't use the sauna with that infestation.

Nice location. Loved the kayaks and the little lake and outdoor pools. The indoor pool and hot tubs seemed a little grimy, wish they were cleaner. Our room had a lot of ants, they crawled into our bags, and one of our mattresses felt old and sagging. Nice hotel but a bit rundown
