Mantis Soanambo Hotel And Spa

Mantis soanambo Lovely welcoming drink and friendly reception. Confusion about bill but got sorted quickly. Lovely and spacious room with veranda and access to beach with shallow waters. Excellent shower!!! Nice swimming pool and loved the free SUP, kayak and bicycle. Bar and restaurant staff were very friendly. Food excellent and accompanied by live music. Unfortunately a very early departure (3.30hrs) but went smoothly and were given a picnic breakfast. A bit disappointing as it did not include any cold drink. There was an option for take away tea/coffee but that’s not going to be useful for when we would have the breakfast on the ferry. WiFi at the hotel is not great. Not even at the restaurant/reception area.

We dropped in for dinner which is normally a buffet but the staff were so lovely and let us order a la carte and we had a yummy seafood stew and crab. They had fabulous live music and a sunset cocktail setup too (though depending where you sit the music was competing a bit). Beautiful location on the water, friendly staff and way less pretentious and better service than the other fancy hotel in town. I got a chocolate dome for dessert that was not good - so just steer clear of that on the menu.

Stayed one night at mantis soanambo. The staff is very friendly (which can be not the case sometimes in Madagascar if you are not the typical white tourist). The rooms are comfortable, modern and clean. They have a view on the beach. We got the breakfast option and it was a nice buffet with various options. Overall a really great stay
