Marine Dr 2 70 Fingal Bay

We have a big van and tow vehicle so it's always a pleasure to find a caravan park with well laid out sites. The large sites at Fingal Bay Holiday Park were well separated so no tripping over your neighbours' cords and hoses. The site was easy to manoeuvre. The amenities are fairly new, in great condition and always clean. A very short walk to a nice park across the road which also provides beach access. A cafe, service station and small supermarket are just around the corner or it's an easy drive into the shops, restaurants and cafes of Nelson Bay.

We really enjoyed Fingal Bay caravan park from the friendly welcome to the spacious double concrete site. Amenities were excellent and the grounds well attended. Lovely safe beach to swim and walk. The surf club had an excellent cafe with efficient young staff

We were camping in a van on the Astro turf at front of park. Maintenance was very helpful in providing us with screw in pegs to secure our gazebo. Thanks to the camper that lent us a drill to get them out, as Maintenance did not return to get them out . Overall this is a great park , a bit noisy over the weekends but that's to be expected. We were there 6 nights and managed 2 hot showers, the hot water system is a nightmare so don't expect too much in that regard. We luckily had a friend staying at the resort down the road so we grabbed showers in the arvo down there. Reception is friendly and helpful. Laundry facilities are good. The pool is lovely and the location to the beach is spot on. We would definitely stay again .
