The receptionist was warm and welcoming. We received a free upgrade to a vineyard view room. The room was very comfortable and spacious. The kitchenette had everything we needed for our 1 nights stay. There were bathrobes available for us to use which we wore to the relaxing spa under the stars. The room was totally relaxing and peaceful. The garden in front of the room was popular with the local birdlife including fantails. Thank you so much, we will visit again soon.
We had a two night stay here during our month-long trip around NZ and enjoyed it very much indeed. I booked an "Executive Suite with Vineyard View" and we were given Room 12 which was an excellent choice as it is at the end of a row of suites. The room was clean and modern, with good amenities including microwave oven and good-sized fridge. It had a large living/dining/kitchen room, a separate bedroom, a very pleasant patio, and parking right outside. The bathroom was huge and worked really well. We found the room very comfortable in every way. There was a useful self-serve laundry room nearby, which we needed, and which worked well once we found out how to put the coins in! I only interacted with the reception staff, but they were helpful, friendly and efficient. I thought the room offered very good value for money and would definitely stay here again when back in Blenheim.
The rooms are really nice and spacious. Beautiful surroundings. We attended a wedding during our stay which was also amazing. The venue is perfect for a wedding. The downside for me was the price of the rooms. The room was also missing the mini bar as stated in the compendium. I also felt that not providing room services or even having a contental breakfast available was a big let down especially for $230 a night. There is a restaurant over the road but for the price of the room you want to stay in house and enjoy it.
