We enjoyed every part of our stay at this gorgeous hotel but the staff elevated our experience to another level. They always showed great care and professionalism when dealing with us (the 2 aunties from Australia). The reception team were so helpful and kind and the executive lounge staff always made us feel comfortable and welcome. Our rooms were always beautifully tidy and clean when requested. It was very difficult to leave!

Travelled here as part of our silver wedding celebration as my wife was born in Singapore. We had a wonderful time and it was a very pleasant stay. We had bed and breakfast which was delicious. The room was very nice and very well looked after. We found the location very good, just a few minutes walk to the underground. Everyone was so nice and helpful everywhere we went people were offering help with directions or routes and places to visit. Would highly recommend this place. And would recommend a visit to Singapore in any event.

Disappointing and Misleading – Avoid This Hotel My stay at Maxwell Reserve was a major disappointment. 1. Misleading Photos – The room looked nothing like the photos shown on Booking.com. What you see online is not what you get. 2. Inconsistent Pricing – The price charged was different from what was listed both on Booking and on the hotel’s own website. 3. Unresponsive Service – Staff were passive and unhelpful, even when I tried to raise concerns. 4. Strong Odor – The entire hotel smells heavily of incense or potpourri, which was overwhelming and unpleasant. 5. Hidden Construction Site – The hotel is located directly next to a loud construction site. While this is technically mentioned on Booking, it’s hidden in a different tab that you have to scroll down and switch to in order to see. That’s not transparency – that’s a trap. I tried to communicate my concerns to the hotel directly, but no one bothered to follow up. This experience felt deceptive and careless. Would not recommend.
