It's our last day here and have enjoyed every second of it. Love the private bungalows, surrounded by greenery. The quiet little beach area is amazing not too much going on so you can sit back and relax. The snorkeling is fabulous, my husband and daughter loved the scuba diving. The staff at this resort are very friendly and made this a memorable vacation for my daughters birthday. Would highly recommend this place.

I enjoyed my stay here. It's very secluded so plan to spend most of your stay on the resort. The separate cabins were extremely nice. Especially nice to lounge on the hammock when it was raining. For buffet style restaurant daily, the selection was super varied daily. I didn't go hungry. Beach is private and super quiet. You can swim to a corral reef right off the beach. About 50 meters out and 50 meters to the right - in case you can find it. 😉 Overall, relaxing vacation. Friendly staff and chill vibes.

We just returned from a week at Media Luna and overall really enjoyed our stay. The resort is very clean, and the staff were extremely nice and accommodating. Loved that the rooms were individual, private bungalows with hammocks on the decks. There is only one restaurant open at selected meal times, which we knew going in. While the food was good, options were quite limited, and became repetitive and a little boring after a few days. The location offers some great views and good swimming on a small beach, but it’s very remote- not a bad thing unless you’re hoping to wander off the property. We were travelling with an 8 month old, so can’t comment on any of the night time entertainment, but I know there was something happening most nights. While I realize it’s not a 5-star resort, there were a few small things that could be considered for an overall better experience. Accessibility: there was a ramp to get to/from the lobby area to the restaurant and pool areas, but the routes to the bungalows were very bumpy cobblestone paths that were difficult for suitcases. I imagine it would not be useable for anyone with mobility issues. We brought a stroller for our little one and ended up not using it after one attempt. Amenities: small things like a coffee/tea machine in the rooms, or bottled water in the fridges would go a long way. Not a deal breaker, but it’s a bit of a pain to have to walk across the property to get a coffee, drink or fill your water (when they’re open). You end up stocking your own mini fridge in advance-something that could be cheaply and easily remedied in my opinion. Overall though, we had a great time and found the resort otherwise very accommodating for our family and would recommend it to anyone who wants somewhere a little more quiet and willing to put a few more steps in.
