Having the best holiday here. Everything is 5 stars, especially the animation team. I am here with my 3 children and everyone is so welcoming and lovely, making us all feel at ease. Will definitely be back soon!!

We stayed for 7 nights in June and had a very mixed experience. There were some great aspects of our stay, but some were less positive. The hotel is advertised as family and couple-friendly, but at times it felt far from it on some days, with large groups of men on the site that were not families or couples. We waited nearly 3 hours for our room, while others in our group checked in much earlier. Food was inconsistent and chaotic, with guests rushing buffets and no portion control. Many of the snacks advertised throughout the day were never seen, and food services only worked well if you arrived early. Saying all of that, the food we did get was amazing and tasted incredible. Hygiene and safety was a concern: our bathroom sink had a strong sewage smell, and we saw a waiter serve a dirty and used glass to another guest. One lift also slammed shut on my arms, and days later that same lift jolted as we were using it — a major safety concern. There was also an overwhelming amount of bugs, black crickets being a major issue around and inside the hotel. While the air conditioning and pools were great, and most staff were friendly, there were also awkward moments where staff sat with guests. I understand this is probably a cultural divide, so it was appreciated — until at one point we were pressured to write a review for the hotel with them sat next to us (we did not do this, but consider this when reading the overwhelming reviews on the site). There were brief moments of calm midweek, and overall we were happy — but this was largely down to the fact that we were on holiday and enjoying ourselves and our own company. We unfortunately will be looking at other hotels for future trips to Hammamet
