Mega Boutique Hotel and Spa Bali

This hotel has lots of potential. The rooms are nice . The only problem is to turn on light and AC. You put your card in slot, all turns in. But when you want to go to sleep the AC turns off along with lights! I had to sleep with ceiling lights on all night because I needed the AC! Terrible setup. It’s set up differently. bathroom and Shower and toilet are each separated by glass. Tub and sink are separated by slider glass with a mosquito sticker telling you to close, which is basically out in open but shielded for privacy by wood slats that lets in fresh air. The problem it also lets in all the mosquitoes so you must close the slider! Breakfast is good. Balinese food is delicious. Staff is lovely. Balinese people and culture is beautiful. It needs a little upgrading but for the price it great.

Family of 3 from Australia would not recommend staying here. Booked to stay 3 nights initially but checked out the next morning to another hotel. Changed rooms shortly after checking in because air con was not working. Shower would not drain properly and the hose next to the toilet was leaking. Mirror in bathroom cracked and 1 button on toilet broken. A sharp piece on the floor Lino cut my foot. Overall cleanliness was not good. Sinks/basins dirty. Curtain in bathroom broken couldn’t look out window.

If you read this review when you're about to book a room here, please read carefully all the bad reviews. Because that's true! We booked 3 rooms here. As I entered my room, it was very smelly, dusty & dirty. It seemed they forget to (or never) sweep the floor. I found many traces of animal feces in the pantry. Very little amenities were provided, not even bath mat. The tap water was yellowish and smelled like iron, and sadly the water heater didn't work at all. The bed sheet was stained and dirty too, I couldn't sleep because it made me itchy and the pillow smelled bad. I would never choose this hotel again 😭 The room looks exactly like their picture, but the poor hygiene and lack of standard services ruins everything. Labelling this hotel with four stars certainly feels like scam!
