Melia Cayo Santa Maria

The dancers at the shows at night were incredible. i honestly have never seen talent like this in my entire life. they were insane, so flexible, such amazing shows, with different themes and dances every night. the hotel was clean, and proper. the service was amazing. the beach was lovely !!!

First time in Cuba and this resort was for sure a great choice for a couple’s vacation. Great rooms, super clean. Amazing beaches with warm water and plenty of space. Great variety of activities from which dance classes (Merengue and Salsa) were the most surprising. Instructor Jorge Marin (if you read this a big thank you from “Romeo” 🙂) is very strict and professional but also very respectful to someone who danced more in Cuba than in the rest of his life. Always available to correct what’s wrong and show the proper way of doing it right. Also the sailing on the beach was a relaxing experience even though we could do it for an extra hour or two. If we return to Cuba, Melia Cayo Santa Maria will for sure be at the top of our choices, and we hope we show a better

Awful. I didn't think that I would write review about this resort but I wanna tell the truth. The worst hotel I ever been. Firstly very bad resort, the room is very humid and the conditioner doesn't help. There is mold that they were trying to hind with a curtain. Also there were dirty walls with finger prints. The service cleaning that cleans the rooms just killed me, he never change towels, he only dry them on the sun outside and after return it in our room. Secondly, about food. It's very poor. They are very economical on food. Every day was same food and not enough. Only desserts sometimes changed. A lot of plates were dirty. There were all in oils and food leftovers. Restaurants dinner was very poor. What was in the menu doesn't correspond to the reality. Some people of service in the restaurants and buffet are not very friendly only if you pay them. There are always waiting tips from us. Without tips they do nothing, just ignore. Only positive point of this vacation, we found amazing beach with blue water and white sand. Also the pool was great. If you wanna go to Cayo Santa Maria I'm not recommend this resort.
