Meliá Punta Cana Beach

Me and my wife stayed at this resort from Monday to Saturday and it was a good memorable stay. What we liked most was the service and accommodations. The hotel workers were very helpful, friendly and caring. For instance, Meliá made booking excursions very easy. They helped us book our trip to Sanoa Island and our go kart adventure. They also had fishing which I missed. This hotel is a great place to get away with your spouse, significant other or a group of older mature friends. The rooms were decent and the beach was very relaxing and peaceful. The food was good as well with various options and themes. Please remember, you are in the Dominican Republic, be sure to try the Dominican food they have and experience the culture. It’s what makes this place great. Don’t be afraid to ask questions!

I recently visited Punta Can Beach Wellness Resort for Adults only, and it was amazing! I enjoyed everything about it. My greatest memory came from the bike tour I did with Miguel and his partner(sorry don't remember his name). It was such a fun and joyous bike tour around all the resorts on the property. I loved it! I will definitely visit the resort again..

The weather was nice and unfortunately that is about the only positive thing I can say about this Holiday. We paid £4000 for 10 nights at a 5 star hotel and as soon as you're checking in they want you to upgrade to "THE LEVEL" Package!!! What a total scam. All the pictures you see advertised for this hotel look nice but they are only of the upgraded side of the hotel ! This hotel is barely a 4 star and that is being generous. * Rooms need updating. * Pool needed a really good clean. * Staff are lazy and are uninterested in helping. * food wasn't great and some nights I didn't even bother going to dinner. This has nothing to do with the hotel but the beach is full of seaweed in case you like a paddle in the water. Personally I was glad to come home.
