Melon Resort Mui Ne

Lovely resort. Rooms are excellent. Pool is beautiful. Resort restaurant is extremely good mix of Korean and Vietnamese. Some work needs to be done repairing tiles in the pool. Beach is not that close to the resort and not good to go to in the afternoon.

We stayed in villa with ocean view - spacious rooms, comfortable bed, balcony, great view. Quiet in the night, so you can get a good night sleep. Get ready for a hike, cuz its a steep hill to "hike" up to the villas in the heat, but nothing terrible. They are not on the sea shore so you have to walk about 10 minutes downhill to the sea. The hotel has a private beach, but its only a few chairs behind fishermans boats and nets. Its dirty, unattended and surrounded by trash.The rest of the beach is private resorts. But it has a beautiful pool with a nice view right next to the villas. Unfortunatelly the staff doesnt speak almost any english, so any communication is really hard. But they are very kind and try to communicate at least via translator.

I booked this hotel I’m on hotels.com and got instant confirmation. When arrived realised no one was there and hotel is not operating. Owners still accept bookings without providing their service. Ruined holiday experience. In the end I got a room at the hotel just across the road called Victoria Resort which was great.
