Today we needed help at the front desk. The lady was so rude. Lies to us and continued to be rude. Toilet paper. There is NONE! In the public washroom area next to the food hall. . Staff take their own to work. We’ve been to cuba for many many years. The rudeness of the staff here is like nothing f we’ve ever encountered. I understand the shortages. I don’t understand them being rude to those of us bringing supplies and business in. We brought two suitcases full of gifts. Medical stuff . Toiletries and children’s over the counter meds Beach is fantastic. The staff are terrible at this hotel

restore is good! definitely beautiful weather and beaches but that’s about it! lol there is some very nice staffing and others who are very rude. I also noticed little things floating in 4/5 or more of my drinks daily. Gorgeous beach but lots of sharks. Food and buffet is not good and the smell of the buffet is horrible and everything has that smell. Had a great time but unfortunately wont be returning!

Went to Memories Paraiso in Santa Clara, Cuba in January 2024. This hotel was such a turn off. The rooms we stayed in including my parent's room were terrible. The toilet seats were broken. While trying to sit on the toilet seat, it keeps shifting i had to hold the seat for firmness. One of the bedside lambs in my room did not work. The bed sheets had spots on them. The blanket smells as if they were not washed from the last usage. I woke up with bites on certain parts of my body that were not bitten by mosquitoes. Those were not mosquito bites. I don't know what they were from, but they were not mosquito bites. Mosquito bites were different at different spots. We reported to the front desk that the toilet and the lamp were broken. No one came to repair them before we left. We had some good receptions at the front desk. But one stood out that was so rude, her name was Celia. My husband approached the front desk to ask for something. She looked up and said what do you want? Who talks like that to a guest? Then we asked for location to the Italian restaurant. She sent us to a wrong location. Told us it might be over there. She had no knowledge of where the restaurant was instead of trying to find out she sent us in the wrong direction only to come back to the front desk to speak to someone else who directed us to the right location. She should not be representing her company because she left a terrible taste in our mouths. We had some lovely servers in the dining room. Shout out to Juliet!! She was so nice to us. She went above and beyond and so many others. I cannot list all their names. But I had no terrible experiences with anyone in the dining room. But Celia was so rude. Shout out to Yomaily! She was so helpful at the front desk. Not much to say about the food. Its Cuba. Only if you're not a pork lover, be expected to have limited items for breakfast, especially since pork was always a part of the breakfast meal. Pork was served everyday for the 3 meals and pork was in everything often times. They had fish and chicken at times so you will find something to eat. Long walk to the beach, but it was beautiful. Be expected to be feasted upon by mosquitoes and sand flies. Tour guides to and from the airport on the buses were phenomenal. A wealth of information was transferred to every guests.
