The hotel was great!! Stayed here last week while in Moscow. Had a great stay! The staff were very friendly and helpful. Room was super nice. Loved the shower!!! Bed was extremely comfortable! Never had any issues with the Wifi either which was important as we worked some from the room. I really recommend staying here and would do so again. Thanks to the staff for helping make the stay enjoyable! I would like to leave a separate note for The Butchery, the associated restaurant in the hotel. My advice is, if you do not speak Russian, do not eat here as it can be very challenging. We ate here Monday morning for breakfast. The hostess could not speak English but was very friendly and we were still able to sit, eat the buffet, then pay. Our "service" the next day was terrible. The previous hostess was not there, and this new guy was extremely rude. Only English he seemed to be able to speak was to tell us that we would have to pay first before eating. After giving him our credit cards, he swiped them, then literally threw them back at us. Seriously, he threw them over the bar and looked at us like he was disgusted!! I've been a lot of places and have never seen such horrible behavior in any staff. When we asked for a receipt (needed as this was for a business expense) he just went in the kitchen and we never saw him come back out. Eventually a friendly employee was able to help and provide a receipt. I will say that the food was good, and that they put out a really good amount and variety of food and drink.

Overall a good experience, as it is well rated. The hotel is quite new and very modern. The staff at the reception desk is helpful and very friendly. Network is with 40 Mib/s fast enough in the rooms. It is superbly clean in every corner even on carpets; neither does it smell nor look bad. To the critics: The air conditioner was weak on the 4th floor. If selecting 18°C I want 18°C and not 21, don't understand me wrong: at no point of time was it too warm in the room, even with two people sleeping there, but it could definitely have been colder. The breakfast is small and could be improved, as half of the food comes from the freezer and was simply microwaved. The rolls toast like they had their best time somewhen yesterday or the day before. And the Ottoman restaurant was empty at any time. So I won't recommend eating there as fresh food is not available when so customers are coming there.

Rooms are very clean with comfortable bed and large walk in shower. No mini bar however the WiFi is free with a strong connection. Odd number rooms facing the front do suffer from road noise although the even number rooms on the rear side do not. The attached restaurant is great with an outstanding complimentary breakfast buffet. Modern flat screen TV with good local and international channels. Staff are fully bilingual and very helpful. Bus/Tram service is right out front and the Metro is located just a block away. AC seemed a little weak and the room felt stuffy but the widow opens and that alleviated the problem. Definitely worth the stay; just make sure to get an even numbered room!
