Mercure Namur Hotel

So pleased to find this hotel!!! I stayed for a few days with my daughter and I have nothing to fault at all. Very clean hotel with friendly and accommodating staff. The room was spotless too and the breakfast choice was more than ample. The spa area was also a welcome addition which we used every day. I need to mention some positives which may seem like nothing to some people but, for me, really made a difference. These included wonderful blackout curtains (they really worked!), lots of handy things in the bathroom like shower hat, toothbrush kit, comb etc, a constantly heated mirror in the bathroom meaning it doesn’t steam up (I can’t tell you how much I love this!), restocked water and supplies like mini biscuits and coffees each day, loads of TV channels (in various languages), great sound proofing (I only heard two doors shutting during my whole stay). And the hotel’s location itself is excellent. We used public transport and Jambes station is in fact very well situated and closer to the hotel than Namur station. The hotel is still just a short walk in to Namur and a stone’s throw from the citadel. I really hope to return some day as I truly had a lovely experience. Thank you Mercure Namur!

Hotel is in front on the river, quite charming! The rooms are super comfortable and the service is great! Did not have the chance to go to the wellness spa, but took a look at it and seem awesome! Would for sure come back and recommend it!

One of the features I appreciated most was the gym, which happened to be on the same floor as my room — incredibly convenient. It was clean, well-maintained, and had all the essentials for a proper workout, which made staying active during my trip effortless. The room itself was spotless, tastefully decorated, and very comfortable, with a beautiful terrace. A lovely surprise was the gift of delicious cookies waiting for me — a warm and personal touch that made me feel instantly welcome. Staff were consistently friendly and efficient, always ready to help with a smile. The hotel has a relaxed yet professional atmosphere that made my stay very pleasant from start to finish. If you're looking for a place to stay in Namur that combines comfort, modern amenities, and great service, Mercure Namur Hotel is an excellent choice. I would happily stay here again.
