The hotel itself was lovely, and I must say the staff were warm, welcoming, and very helpful throughout my stay. However, the biggest disappointment, and the main reason I won’t be returning, was the food. The quality was poor, and the variety was almost non-existent. Every day, both lunch and dinner featured the same chicken and the same fish fillet, with barely any change except on Thursday when they open the grill house (possibly on Sundays too, but I wasn’t there to confirm). About a day before the end of my stay, I suffered a severe case of food poisoning. I became seriously ill and had to call the hotel’s doctor. I honestly expected him to acknowledge the issue, apologize for the poor food quality, and possibly offer some form of compensation. I also thought he would escalate the matter to hotel management so they could take action and prevent this from happening to other guests. Unfortunately, none of that happened. Instead, he provided very weak medication and charged a surprisingly large amount for it, far more than what I would have paid for more effective treatment in Cairo. It felt like the medical service was more focused on profit than guest care. Overall, it seemed like everyone was working in isolation, just doing their job without any communication or coordination to ensure a better guest experience. Sadly, due to this disappointing experience, I will not be returning.

I regret selection of this resort. Stayed in the hotel between 6-10.07. My 4d time in Egipt - and the worst experience by now. Starting from the beginning. Traveled with 2 girl friends. We had night flight and check in at 3 am. Hotel must have been suprised/ not prepared as we’ve got twin room, waiting for the third bed till 4am :( towels and water were also not available and we needed to wait and beg to get it!!!! Then we realised safe was not working. They promissed to change it on the next day at 10.00. We waited 1 hour instead of going to the beach, but nobody came. Calling to the reception did not help. Another apointment for fixing was made. Again waiting 1 hour wasting time- nobody came. We decided to not go to the see together as one person had to gate keep. After few attempts on the reception we gave up. The worst happened in the middle of next night. After midnight somebody from housekeeping nocked on the door and since we were sleeping and not opening immediately decided to open the door with his own key and enter our room (note we were only 3 girls there, no man protection) we felt really not safe from this moment. Reception was trying to explain that this must have been another guest not the hotel staff - but it was not true- he opened with the key and was the same man who brought the third bed on the first night. It would be not fair to not metion that rooms are very old and we spent 2 days without air conditioning as It was also not working but they did not agreed to change our room. It’s a shame. Beach and red plus beach staff was nice. Food was okay. But considering above i would never come there again

Very Disappointing Stay – Not Even Close to 4-Star Standards Our family holiday was ruined by a series of unacceptable issues that show a clear lack of management, hygiene, and basic guest care. We had booked 3 rooms next to each other to stay close to our kids. Instead, we were given rooms in different areas, with a vague promise to “change tomorrow.” We also requested extra beds, which took hours to arrive, and we were told there were no extra pillows available that night. We also paid extra for sea-view rooms, but due to the room mix-up, this wasn’t honored. No one offered a refund or even acknowledged the issue — a clear failure in basic customer service. Room conditions were poor: one AC didn’t work at all, others were so noisy they sounded like a helicopter taking off. The kettle and minibar were broken, and maintenance was extremely slow. Rooms had mosquitoes, ants, and dirt. Toiletries were missing or very poor in quality. Housekeeping was rushed and ineffective. At check-in and check-out, our luggage was left under the sun for long periods, without concern for what might be inside. Restaurant hygiene was alarming: the chef’s uniform was filthy, and I saw a staff member wipe a dirty plate with his bare hand and reuse it. At the beach bar, glass cups were rinsed in plain water and reused immediately. The toaster didn’t work, and both food variety and quality were poor. Cutlery was dirty, and basic items like spoons and tissues were often missing. The animation team used inappropriate language in front of kids, making them uncomfortable and forcing us to leave the activity. Even the staff are not looked after — many were working under the sun with no fans or proper equipment, clearly affecting their energy and appearance. Some staff tried to help, but it wasn’t enough. I usually focus on the bright side and overlook small things — but here, the negatives were in the basics, and too many small frustrations piled up. We couldn’t even enjoy the few positives. This hotel is far from 4 stars. I wouldn’t return or recommend it.
