Staff are polite and helpful. Very nice, spacious and clean room. The front desk staff informed me that it faces a construction site, but turned out it wasn’t noticeable as I was on the 10th floor. I wish the toilet has a bit more space for placing things / hanging towels, and I wish they got a gym floor given the price range. But otherwise it’s a nice hotel!

Everything was great about this hotel, start from the kind lovely staff, the map they gave me to show nearby stores, attractions or transportation stations, personalized for the hotel. We stayed on the sixth floor, but I had sunrise and sunset views. The room very comfortable, good size, I especially liked the little magnet tags for house keeping and "don't disturb" very cute and effecient. Housekeeping very professional. They provide water bottles daily although there is a lounge on the second floor, that offers free water bottles, tea and coffee. It was close to the train station. I really regret moving to another hotel 😭 I want to come back to Mitsui I recommend this hotel to anyone coming to Taipei. I don't think I took any pictures here, I will check my gallery.

I had a generally pleasant stay at MGH Taipei. One of the highlights was the public bath on the top floor, a great place to relax and unwind after a day out. The room was clean, and I appreciated the modern toilet with a bidet. The TV offered a good variety of channels, including Taiwanese, Korean, Japanese, English, and world news, which was a nice touch for international travelers. However, there were a couple of downsides. The view from the room wasn’t appealing, and more importantly, the air quality felt dusty. I found myself coughing during the night and even experienced shortness of breath, which made me want to spend more time outside the room. I believe this issue could be improved with an air purifier. Another note: I wouldn’t opt for the breakfast buffet again. There wasn’t anything particularly special about it, and I found a more convenient option on the top floor near the public bath, where two vending machines offered a surprising variety of items like bananas, chicken, sandwiches, iced coffee, and breads, more than enough for a quick and satisfying breakfast. Overall, the hotel has good amenities and cleanliness, but there’s room for improvement in air quality and breakfast value.
