Amazing place to stay. This is our third year in a row staying here. Favourite things about it are that it's right opposite the ski slopes. And, Netski, where we hire our ski equipment is essentially on the bottom floor of the building and there are a few lovely restaurants right around it where you can have amazing French food. And if you want to talk to ESF, the school of skiing, they are right along next to the building. Can't recommend a better place. The only sad thing is that this year there appears to be less snow than there was in the previous two years. So next season, if we ski early in December, we'll probably go to a location that's higher up in the mountains. But because we love the MGM brand, we will likely choose one of the locations where they have aparthotels. A couple of recommendations. While the kitchen has most equipment, it would benefit from: a sieve, spatula, food scales, potato masher and I’d have salt and pepper as standard. This is a small niggle though, the place is good value for money outside the main ski season.

Zoiets: In January, we booked our holiday with two friends and their daughter at an MGM Hotels property. We chose a beautiful "Prestige" apartment, as it was advertised. Upon arrival, the apartment was indeed clean and well-presented. We were very much looking forward to our stay. However, the situation changed in the evening. We discovered that our apartment was located directly beneath the restaurant. We could hear every sound—guests, chairs, staff talking, and even parties. By the third night, the music was still extremely loud at 11 PM, so we went to investigate. We saw people partying and even urinating outside the restaurant. We attempted to raise our concerns with the restaurant manager, who came to speak with us after a while. Unfortunately, he did not take our complaint seriously and told us we were overreacting. Frustrated and upset, we returned to our apartment, where the noise finally stopped after 1:30 AM. The following day, we spoke with the front desk, and it became clear we were not the only guests experiencing these issues. The receptionist acknowledged our concerns and tried to help, but there were no alternative apartments available. As compensation, she offered us a 10% discount on a future stay. However, we were not looking to rebook—we simply wanted a peaceful holiday. She advised us to email the hotel manager, which we did, but again, the responses were slow and unhelpful. Eventually, we were offered a 15% discount on a future booking, which we found unsatisfactory. It is disappointing that management did not take our concerns seriously. The hotel itself has great potential and is beautifully maintained, but this experience left a negative impression—especially considering we paid extra for a “Prestige” apartment. Unfortunately, this experience has led us to decide that we will not be staying at MGM Hotels again.

Don't expect good sleep. We had one of the prestige apartments, which looked great when we arrived. During the evening we found out that it was located just underneath a restaurant that was part of the same building, but not part of the hotel. We could hear al kinds of kitchen noises throughout the night, but midweeks it got worse. There was a big party in the restaurant and you could hear people yelling and stamping on the ground. At 11 I went out complaining but the restaurant manager said that there was no issue and that I should not complain. No empathy or what so ever, he didn't care about the fact that we couldn't sleep. Also, reception was not reachable so I basically couldn't do anything. Around 1:30 it finally got quite, but by my baby's night rithm was already destructed by then. The day after we adressed the issue at the reception. They felt sorry for us, but after having conversations about our complaint, we learned that this was known for years but that management and the restaurant management couldn't come to an agreement on how to solve the issue. We couldn't move to another apartment because the Le Roc was fully booked, so we just had to sit it out. After effort from our side and the reception management finally tried to offer us something for our inconvenience. They offered us a discount on our next booking. This is not how you thread people that just had a couple of ruined nights. At minimum they should give a refund on the night we couldn't sleep at all.
