The greatest vacation I had and probably ever will have. There is too much to say about this beautiful little resort and I'm afraid I won't be able to cover everything. Our stay here was perfect from beginning to end. A hundred different positive experiences and not a single negative one. I'll list a few reasons why we enjoyed it so much - #1 was the staff service. Each and every staff we interacted with was a pleasure to deal with. From our private butler Aminath, to the head chef Lakshita, to the waiters and waitresses, to the kitchen staff, to the housekeepers all the way back to the GM. Extremely friendly without being overbearing and always happy to accommodate your wishes. Had a lot of nice conversations with the ocean restaurant team in particular. They fulfilled many of our special (and perhaps annoying) requests without ever showing a second of agitation. When they found out we were headed to japan after this trip and that my spouse loves sushi, the head chef had sent out a special roll just for us to enjoy. - Incredible breakfast buffet with a la carte also available. Immense selection, delicious and always fresh. Huge varities of tropical fruits offered, all types of cheeses, meats, baked goods, even sushi. Whatever you could think of - they had it. Excellent opening and closing hours as well. I would actually finish breakfast, be completely full, and then think to myself "wow can't wait for breakfast tomorrow" - Great dining options as well - Pristine condition and cleanliness of the island and facilities - Hilton status was honoured in every way possible, which feels rare nowadays. We were most appreciative of this. - Incredible house reef. Saw thousands of fish while snorkeling, a turtle and even a grey tip reef shark. Also saw nurse sharks at night below the Ba’theli boat restaurant. - Extremely private villa. Full sized pool compared to most other hotel offerings of small plunge pools. Great access to the reef from our villa. - Complimentary fresh fruit was offered in our villa every day, as well as a new kind of delicious snack. I'm sure there is more that I am missing. I'm not the type to ever visit the same resort or hotel more than once but if I had the chance to come back to Milaidhoo I would do it in a heartbeat. Until then, I will keep fond memories of this place in my heart forever. Thank you to the entire team at Milaidhoo for creating such a special destination.
Our first trip to the Maldives brought us to Milaidhoo, and it was truly unforgettable. From the moment we arrived, the staff made us feel incredibly welcome—especially our butler Mr Abdulla, who went above and beyond to ensure everything was seamless. His clear guidance and attentive care made settling in effortless. The food was a highlight: fresh, flavourful, and varied enough to surprise us each day. Whether it was breakfast by the beach or dinner under the stars, every meal felt special. The setting itself is breathtaking. Surrounded by turquoise waters and lush greenery, the island offers a peaceful, private escape. We especially appreciated the quiet atmosphere and the sense of seclusion—it felt like our own little paradise. We’re already thinking about our next visit.
I have stayed in over a dozen luxury hotels in the Maldives, and this one is the worst. The private butler named Anth has no emotional intelligence at all. She ruined our vacation. I stayed at this hotel for a week and spent over 15,000 US dollars. When checking out, Anth asked if we had consumed anything from the mini bar on the day of check-out. We hadn't. She saw an empty can of soda on the table and thought I was cheating her. She said a lot of rude and offensive words to me. In fact, I drank that can of soda yesterday. I thought the staff had already included it in the bill, but they didn't. I spent over 15,000 US dollars here, yet on the last day, she insulted and offended me over a one-dollar can of soda. She thought I was trying to take advantage of her for that one-dollar can of soda. And when we left the hotel, she kept giving us dirty looks, and no staff said goodbye to us. I wanted to give Anth feedback about the problems we encountered on WeChat, but I found that she had deleted us. The worst hotel and the worst staff ever. Don't come here!
