Mitru Express Hotel

Great hotel in a fantastic location. The modern amenities and cleanliness really stood out. The bed was large and super comfortable – perfect for a good night's sleep. Staff across all areas were very friendly and helpful. The breakfast buffet was varied and fresh, with an amazing view to top it off. I honestly can’t understand the negative reviews – my 4 nights have been entirely positive. A clear recommendation for anyone visiting La Paz.

Very good hotel, it met our expectations. The staff was always helpful and polite — they did their best to assist us with anything we needed. The room was generally kept clean. The shower needs improvement: the water was either too hot or too cold. At certain times, the water had a muddy color. When we complained, we were told it was an issue with the city’s water supply, but it would return to normal shortly. Still, it’s a bit frustrating when all you want is a relaxing shower. Restaurant prices are fair for the quality of the food, which was quite good. Breakfast is well served, with plenty of options — although it doesn’t change much from day to day. The prices charged for airport transfers are a bit excessive compared to a regular taxi. The location is not the best. Although it’s about a 15-minute walk from the tourist center, the streets become very empty at night, making it unsafe or unpleasant to walk around, which limits your ability to go out or return on foot in the evening.
