Mitsui Garden Hotel Kyoto Kawaramachi Jokyoji

Absolute 10/10 experience, they helped me find my missing luggage after my last hotel lost it. The rooms are massive for the price, and there is always incense burning so it smells wonderful throughout the lobby and into the elevator. The staff are so kind and very good at communicating in all manner of languages as well as very accommodating. It's also in a great location, and there's just an incredible atmosphere in and around the hotel. there's also a temple right outside with prayer services and so much more that I could list. I truly cannot recommend a hotel more than this one.

This hotel is awesome. Location is very convenient & quiet. Room is big, cozy & clean which using high-level sanitary ware. Onsen is clean & comfort and full of zen style. The smell at lobby makes me relax and semi buffet breakfast is a good try. Most of the staff are polite especially Ms. Marina Sakura. She is extremely nice, cheerful, helpful and thoughtful. My birthday had passed one day when I checked in but she still greeting me happy birthday and sent me a small gift. You can see how detail-minded she is and made me so happy and unforgettable. I checked in another hotel on my birthday but no greeting at all! So most appreciation to staff Marina and you are wonderful! I had fantastic memorable during my 5 nights stay.

The place i would stay next time. As a foreigner, it’s hard to experience the public bath in local place, but the facility here allows you to immerse hot bath, which is very enjoyable after a whole day walking. Also, the staff was way too nice. one night the room next to us is noisy during midnight, staff address this issue immediately and apologize to us while checking out (which shouldn’t have had to !). Overall, is was a decent stay and i cant wait till the next time
