Monteforte Suite & Spa

Very cosy boutique hotel in Ugento, away from the crowd and noisy coastal places. We had a very spacious and nice room. Breakfast was varied and with fresh produce. The staff and the managers Andrea & Sonia and their young team have been professional, always helpful, with a smile and kind. The hotel has a wonderful restaurant ( il Duca) with amazing food and great wine selection. We left a piece of our heart here. We would love to return. I highly recommend this place, cosy, clean and comfortable!

An Amazing experience in the 💖 of Ugento. The accommodation has been completely renovated and is very welcoming. It is on two floors There are six suites and all of them are full of all comforts. my bathroom also had a jacuzzi bath In the hotel there is also a high level restaurant with a sophisticated menu proposal and a remarkable wine list. You can have both a tasting menu and eat a la carte

This is a very special place! My husband and my 5-year old son spent a week at Monforte and we were sad to leave the place. The hospitality of Salvatore and his family is second to none. Christian (the manger of the hotel) is super helpful and tries to accommodate any request. Salvatore gave us the best recommendations of where to eat (we visited some of the best restaurants in Salento), what beaches to see and many many more tips, which made our holidays truly unique. We travel a lot for work and for pleasure and I rarely find the time to review places, but this is a special gem which needs a great review....as it is a difficult one to find otherwise. This is one of the best places in Puglia/Salento where to spend your holidays. Highly, highly recommended!
