Could really not fault the staff or any part of the hotel. Very genuinely friendly staff on arrival, breakfast, and any other time needed. Hotel renovation has been done to very high standard, incorporating many parts of the old monastery. (Make sure you take in the monastery museum connected, so you can see the before and after) The outside pool is just wonderful (with the right weather). It's big enough to have a proper swim, but you're still able to stand in the deep end. Again, friendly staff at the pool side bar with drinks and food available. Indoor pool and sauna are great, and again, very high standard to the finish. Some may say the location is just a bit far from anywhere, but I think this is the point of this hotel. It's about getting away from it all and just relaxing. Certainly would recommend and would return. At the moment, as it only opened a few months ago (April 2025), it's still a Hidden Gem.

The hotel is still under construction. We were not able to fully enjoy all the facilities. But there is a padel court, a pool for children near the playhouse, an outdoor pool and apparently in the future a pool bar. Beautiful garden. The staff are very friendly.

Um excelente trabalho de recuperação de património histórico! Positivo: Soluções arquitectónicas bem conseguidas, nota bem alta no aproveitamento dos espaços e nos resultados obtidos. Quartos bem decorados, almofadas e cama de grande conforto, cofres e televisões planas de grande ecrã com comando fácil. Casas de banho diferentes umas das outras, soluções agradáveis a proporcionar bons banhos com ótima pressão da água. Jardins e áreas comuns bem cuidadas. Apesar de se sentir ainda uma certa insegurança, notou-se muita simpatia e prestabilidade em todo o pessoal, destacando-se o responsável do bar. Negativo: O ar condicionado não refrescava o quarto 107, o que nos obrigou a mudar a altas horas com armas e bagagens para o 117, assunto resolvido. Duche turco com temperatura insuficiente. Piscina interior pequena para dias de maior procura. Necessidade de melhoria da oferta dos pequenos-almoços, relativamente pobre e com faltas para quem procura produtos biológicos com pouco ou nenhum açúcar, pães de centeio, croissants crocantes de qualidade. Falta de sinalética nas ruas próximas do hotel, a dificultar a aproximação. Um pequeno hotel com apenas dois meses ainda dentro das dificuldades de arranque, mas com grande potencial a prever um grande futuro!
