Nevis Resort & Aqua Park All Inclusive

We got back from holiday yesterday and it was a lovely 2 weeks spent at TUI Blue Nevis, the food was lovely, there was such an variety and there was something for everyone, entertainment staff you can’t fault especially Megan, she was so lovely and actually took the time to come and speak to us each evening with was nice and the kids loved her, we was sad that we never got to say goodbye. The entertainment itself is very much for the kids, it isn’t really for adults but they do do a Quizstorm on an app each evening which was always so much fun. There wasn’t really any entertainment around the pool they didn’t really big it up enough, you would be laying there sunbathing and then look up and they would be half way through water polo or water Aerobics, the sound system is shocking, they would be playing a song and then half way through it would cut off and not come back on which is a tad frustrating but wasn’t the end of the world. The water slides were so much fun and the kids absolutely loved the children’s play water climbing frame. I did notice people did reserve sunbeds but we would normally go for breakfast and then go to the pool for 9ish and there would still be loads of beds left so don’t stress. The staff that walk around the pool to collect your cups were so lovely and friendly, there was one man who had gold teeth and he was amazing, he would say hello to us everyday and stand and have a chat with you. The receptionist staff were not helpful at all, when we first arrived we were given our room keys and numbers and a lady told us to walk outside turn left and then our building was there to infact that was false, I had to walk up the hill to entrance B Ingrid we was walking up and down for ages in the end we went and got someone to actually take us to our room, we also requested that our rooms be in the same block as I was staying on my own but my family were all put in the Kate block and I was in Ingrid and they didn’t do anything, it was like you were an inconvenience to them, the man on reception was SO RUDE!! My dad really suffers with sciatica and was struggling to walk up the hills so we asked for a room change for him so he was in Helen block as that was right at the top of the hill so he didn’t have to keep going up and down the hill everyday and he was struggling to walk and they said they would but they were going to charge him to which he refused, charge him for a room change is absolutely ridiculous. We also asked if they had any walking sticks or wheelchairs to again they were so unhelpful, my mum went in multiple times and he kept saying no to my mum, then my brother went in and asked and he came out with crutches and said my dad could use them to which we then declined as we rented a walking stick from a local company to which we found out the reception has their card all along .. WAS NOT HAPPY!! We had to chat gpt it to find the company and they were amazing and so helpful, they gave us the stick for free and let us keep it so my dad could use it on the way home. My mum and dad had a problem with their fridge it kept freezing everything, so they called reception twice and they still didn’t send anyone up, my dad went there to speak to them in person to which the same rude man said to my dad “well what do you expect it’s the height of season”. People there are just so rude in general and walk at you expecting you to move out of the way which was starting to get on my nerves, they also never smile and other guest were so rude, one guest kept walking into my sun bed to which in the end they broke my towel clip, I was not impressed. There is a little shop on site which was useful, they sell all different bits and they also blow up you rubber rings or lilo’s for you which was amazing. The bar staff were lovely, it was a very clean hotel, my maid Unziee was so lovely and friendly, Overall we all had a lovely time and I was sad to leave, I would definitely go back but they definitely need to make some changes and need to be abit more helpful and accommodating to guests.

The hotel is good if you are looking for all inclusive stay far from the boulevard and attractions The hotel staff is ok, the bar staff if amazing, the restaurant staff is decent but the hotel reception is not that great, i approached them 4 times and 3 of them I had issues with service provided, it was like they were doing me a favor by providing basic service. The hotel it self has multiple pools and bar areas each person an locate a place suitable for their desired atmosphere. Spa staff was nice. Overall WiFi at the hotel is terrible so make sure to travel with a eSIM or roaming data. Show staff is amazing and very kids friendly.

Lovely clean hotel but very hilly with lots of steps. Food was good except I was told at one point kids could not have ice cream until after 2pm!!!! All inclusive??? Adult entertainment non-existent, children's entertainment boring not much involvement for the kids. Area where kids entertainment took place was like an amphitheatre with so many concrete steps down and kids playing on the steep hills! Dangerous in my opinion. Pool areas great for all. Block where we stayed had a very aggressive lift, saw no end of people hit by the doors closing so fast including my daughter and the baby's pushchair, lift needs looking at it's dangerous! Hotel a bit out of the way of everything, bit of a hike to get to the main strip, taxis quite expensive. Would not stop here again mainly because of location
