NH Collection Andorra Palom

We decided to stay here because there were a couple of trails nearby that we wanted to hike. The service throughout our stay was great! The receptionist also gave us some other trail options. The room felt like it was a little on the small side but we enjoyed the balcony with the view very much. The breakfast spread was good as well. It filled us up before our hikes. There is a bus stop just outside the hotel and Andorra la Vella is easily accessible with the bus albeit the bus only comes half an hour once. If we ever come back to Arinsal, we would definitely stay here again.

Overall, a nice and cozy hotel with a very clean environment. The rooms aren’t huge but are comfortable, and the beds are great—each person gets three different-sized pillows, which is a nice touch. Room service is excellent and done daily. It’s also very quiet, making it a great place to relax. However, there were a couple of downsides. The breakfast is extremely overpriced at €20 per person—you’d be better off grabbing something from a café or shop in Arinsal, where the same amount could easily cover breakfast for two or three people. Also, I was surprised when I asked for a little milk for my in-room coffee and was told it would cost €2.50! Another issue was the receptionist providing incorrect information about the buses. He said they run every 15 minutes all day and are free, but in reality, the free bus service only runs until 3 PM, and the buses are definitely not that frequent. Despite these issues, it’s a good hotel overall, just be aware of these details before booking.

The photos look so much better than in reality! The room was very small and feels claustrophobic. We had a balcony and the balcony was also very small! We had to change rooms because of a foul odour, smelled damp and like mold and gave me a headache after having been inside the room for only a few minutes. The receptionist (who was very nice) gave us a new room. The room we got was dirty and there was mold in the bathroom. Also the air ventilation is extremely dirty and I saw that another guest complained about this problem a year ago. This is not a four star hotel in my opinion. I don’t recommend.
