Tranquil and peaceful retreat. Spacious room with vintage finish yet beautifully maintained. Quiet library and reading space indoor and nice walking trails down to the lake for outdoor activities. Very private. Restaurant and dining was good; not exceptionally memorable. Quality of ingredients are good with attentive service.

This hotel seems open during only summer period. Nice atmosphere and very cozy hotel. Remember Lake Nojiri is not close to here if you come stay to enjoy Lake Nojiri, you need to drive on a wild path to get to. I must say there's nothing special around here, which could make you stuck in hotel and leave not so many choices for any dishes. You can't help but have meal in the hotel. ..regarding restaurants, not so good actually. Therefore you better bring some foods unless you like to have dinner here. I would rate higher if this hotel had at least one spa(like Onsen ). ..anyway this is a good hotel for adults who want to get away from a hustle-bustle life. You can see millions of stars above when you look up to the sky at late night! definitely worth seeing ! Just amazing !
