Nomada Hotel Origen

The outdoor noise in the area of this hotel is horrendous. Mix of crowd, cars, barking dogs, construction noise and loud music. The windows of the room provide no isolation from this noise so please consider that when choosing to stay here. Otherwise cute wooden style rooms. There was no room cleaning on day two, but we didn’t ask about it cause we stayed only 2 nights. There is no telephone in the room, so for request you had to go to reception. Hotel charges extra for visitors in your room, even if it’s just for an hour or so. Cute restaurant and coffee shop downstairs. Area of El Poblado is full of western tourist oriented restaurants that makes them more expensive, but a nice vibe to have drinks, food and a little party.

Horrible place. No cold beers. Only the cheapest beers available in hotspot Poblado!? Horrible noise and the windows don’t isolate. It feels like sleeping outside. Very disappointed. Go somewhere else. The last night we just walked out and looked for another hotel. It was too much

Friendly receptionist when we arrived in the evening and great area BUT At 5:30 AM people start talking and laughing at the reception. We understood evertthing they were saying (we were on the 2nd floor) even though our Spanish isn't perfect. At 6:45 AM the bar downstairs changes in a disco, and personel starts screeming laughing and partying. Sound isolation is non existing...
